Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is on a world tour to promote his latest production ‘Peepli Live’, scheduled to release in August.
“In London now. Travelling to LA, NY, Dubai and Australia for Peepli interviews and promotions,” Aamir wrote in micro-blogging site Twitter.
Aamir is known not only for his acting and direction skills, but also for his unique and innovative ways of promoting his movies.
From ‘Ghajini’ to ‘3 Idiots’, Aamir used innovative promotion methods to create the maximum buzz about his films.
Earlier, Mr. Perfectionist turned drummer during the movie’s music launch and played on stage along with popular fusion band Indian Ocean.
“I think it’s the film’s music that brought out the drummer in me,” he said.
Indian Ocean has composed two tracks for this movie.
The film is a satire on incidences of farmer suicides and subsequent media and political responses.
‘Tere Bin Laden’, another satire, which released last week, is doing good business.
It would be interesting to see how ‘Peepli Live’ performs at the box office, especially after Aamir promoting it.
